Ajax and Santos face 'Giant's'
Ajax Cape Town will face Orlando Pirates on Saturday in what has been dubbed the curtain raiser to the Telkom Knockout (TKO) final next weekend.
The Urban Warriors have been enjoying good form and are joint log leaders with Golden Arrows. However Pirates are in fifth spot only three points behind Ajax, so a win can help in their title campaign as well as give either side the edge heading into the final.
Teko Modise's inclusion in the Buccaneers side is yet to be decided. The midfielder has two yellow cards and if he picks up another one against Ajax on Saturday he could miss the TKO final.
Meanwhile Modise has cemented his place in the Pirates and Bafana line-up but Ajax Striker Mabhuti Khanyeza says he won't be giving him any special treatment.
Santos is the other Cape side in action. They face one of the so-called Soweto Giant's, Kaizer Chiefs at Athlone stadium on Saturday.
The People's team is ! sitting ninth on the log and will want to continue with the string of good results they have had lately, winning their last three games.
Captain Muso Otieno says they are aiming for the three points against their league.
